At a British airport earlier this week, a man who'd never flown a plane made an emergency landing after his friend who was piloting the plane became ill and passed out. Thankfully there was an air traffic controller in the tower who was able to talk him through the process of landing the small aircraft and avoiding injuring himself and possibly bystanders on the ground.
